People love him because of his golden boy persona. He literally has done nothing negative. He's a hardcore bible thumping Christian, but he doesn't even shove it down people's throats. It's the media that blasts it in everyone's face. The media kept shoving him down everyone's throat because he's a good person who was successful at the collegiate level.

Just picture everything that the character John Cena plays being a real person. That's Tim Tebow. Including the ability to find ways to never lose
