Would Odell be as famous as he is without “The Catch”?

Greatness is greatness. Would people give him more respect and not write him off cause of the catch?

Weird to ask this. I mean, it was a great moment everybody remembers so of course it adds to his legend. Of course he wouldn’t be “as famous” without it. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t still be a household name and NFL icon

I would say yes..... cuz even though the catch was spectacular.....

Buddy in the SB with Eli (Tyree Mann’s I believe) had that spectacular catch that helped them win the chip against the Pats.

And Brandon Llyod had an insane catch like that in a game years ago.



Like he made a career of those catch but look specifically at the catch against the Giants 1:38


I think him dancing, his blow ups, and a lot of his off field stuff made his popularity blow up and if he was going to do that, he would be popular regardless
