Breh...I was a Zab Judah stan. I stanned him like I stanned AB now.

Judah was not a smart fighter, he was just very skilled offensively & defensively...with excellent athleticism and power. His iq WAS his weakness. That and his chin were his only hindrance from being "the next Sweet Pea" as they thought he would be.

Judah's ring IQ was nowhere the level of none of those...those are 6 of the smartest Welterweights of All-time ever in the ring. Judah has the ring iq more on the line with Devon Alexander.

If he could outsmart Floyd, then it really reinforces the thought that Floyds undefeated record wouldnt exist if he debuted 10 - 20 years earlier.
zab did not outsmart floyd lmao
ppl overate the hell out of that fight because floyd rarely gets hit
i had it 2-2 after 4
could see it 3-1 zab at best.
floyd won rounds 5-12 and woulda knocked judas out if not for the fight

zab landed a couple good shots early but thats it

I thought Floyd had to get adjusted to the speed of Judah at first. Remember, Judah had faster hands than Floyd, so Floyd had to wait til he slowed down some, then started timing Judah...and then it was all over for him.

floyd was also punishing judah to the body
thats the main reason he slowed down
also floyd was making subtle adjustments throughout the whole fight and zab didnt have no answers
floyd stopped using the shoulder roll early as well
the guy can win in so many different ways

your on a roll with the bullshyt man, keep it coming:laff:

That Floyd hater is a funny child

First its 'Floyd ducked PW' when the man himself said he didnt :mjlol:

Now its Oscar was a B-/C+ level fighter that had him under heat with the jab? :mjlol: Why are guys in here disrespecting Oscar just because he took that L (even though it was a split decision I still think Floyd won that comfortably)

And of course he mentions in another post that Floyd needed 'running' to win. This is the sign of a boxing casual. Those with knowledge call it footwork, casuals who watch too many Rocky Balboa slugfests call it 'running'.

You can bring a prime whatever hell you can even bring Akuma if you want, nobody beats Money in the ring

@Mr. Leonidas how close does this fight look in terms on may/hearns....u think it could be similar since benitez had elite defense too....or naw.

Absolutely bro. I def see that mythical matchup going like this. I don't see many similarities at all tbh tho between Benitez and Money. Benitez slipped a lot of punches with his head, but Money evaded shots with upper body and foot movement (the step back). Money also clinched when his opponents had him on the ropes and/or threw a lot of punches whereas Benitez would try to duck and avoid shots in that position. Against Hearns Benitez was very timid offensively (like Money was against Pacman) and didn't win many rounds. Also Benitez found himself lunging in to hit Hearns, and I feel Money would've never throw any type of punch that would put himself at risk of being hit. Money would've had a lot of the same issues Benitez had tho in terms of being unable to get inside and dealing with Hearns reach. Then you add Hearns speed, punching power and ability to box and I see Hearns beating Mayweather.

No one could outbox Tommy Hearns. You had to knock him out. Does that sound like something Floyd Mayweather is willing to do?

This.

I don't know if Floyd would have the mentality to go after Hearns if he was down on the cards putting himself in harms way with a muderous puncher. SRL had that dog in him though

Although tall and rangy Hearns held his hands too low for a sharpshooter like Floyd; exactly why his chin got sent to the bushes a few times; pay attention

No you had to have a chin and be content on sitting in the the pocket then you would see Hearns boxing ability was a myth, low hands no defense at all, noodly arm shots, thats if your tough enough to cut off the ring on him and force him into a trench fight.....Fighters like Oscar and Floyd who were speedy had granite chins, and relished a pocket fight would have eventually got to his chin in a mythical match......All in all Hearns whole offense and defense was based off his range take that away from him hes a c class fighter; Floyd would take that away instantly....

What happened to Duran, who had a granite chin, when he tried the strategy you're imploring Floyd to try?:sas1:

Exactly:sas2:

Floyd has never faced someone even CLOSE to Hearns...stop it.
Floyd fought and beat like 20 champions and great fighters damn near back to back.....

How many great fighters Hearns fought in his 70 fights 3-4
