I never realized how much of a bytch Lisa truly was until that vegetarian episode where she stole Homer's roasted pig. That argument between him and Lisa afterwards, where she was calling him names and shyt...... man, let me tell you something. I'm not a fan of hitting kids in general, but I would've Sweet Chin Music'd her mouthy lil ass if I was Homer. If ever there was a time to choke her ass out like he usually does to Bart, it was right then and there

Then there was the doomsday episode, where everybody in Springfield thought that stone angel skeleton (or whatever it was) meant the end of the world was near. Of course, little miss "I'm smarter than everybody" kept running on about how stupid everybody else was to believe the world would end......but when she heard that loud deep-ass voice say "prepare for the end", her ass got scared like everybody else did

Flanders ethering her during his meltdown, was one of my personal top 10 moments of the show

I agree to an extent. I feel that in the early seasons Lisa actually had some fantastic episodes centered around her...but then the writers decided to make her a holier-than-thou know it all c*nt where as before she was a self-conscious smart little girl who questioned her place in her family and society.

I honestly don't get the hate for her. I love her character. Most realistic portrayal of a teenager I've ever seen on tv. I'm a few episodes behind now though.

The actress that plays her isn't that great an actor, IMO, as well as poorly written scenes for her character.

It's just terrible all around for her.

Meg isn't one of the worst daughters, per se.....she's just treated like one of the worst daughters for no reason by the rest of the family, which causes everyone (the show's viewers included) to see her as a bad daughter

Don't get me wrong - she's wack, plain-looking at best and is legit annoying sometimes......but that has more to do with her as a person rather than as a daughter. She gets major points as a daughter simply for putting up with her family's bullshyt towards her. Her father treats her like shyt mostly out of ignorance, but her mother treats her like shyt because Lois is just a straight-up bytch. Lois comes far closer to 'worst TV mother' than Meg does to 'worst TV daughter'
