Yeah, even as a kid I always thought it was a fight scene. I expect more mobility in a world with dudes wielding laser swords.

Destroyed by these movies from the same era (time stamped):

Polish film The Deluge (1974)


The Duelists (1977)




In case anybody here haven't seen it.



Would have taken ANH to another level if George revisited the scene and made something like that.

Funny enough the duelist to this day is still one of the most realistic sword fights in the movies

Yea the trailers for part 3 made that shyt look epic, like highlander meets Conan. Instead it's probably the stupidest one I've seen out of the sequels and there are hardly any swordfights in it.

Now the Anime that was a good ass sequel, it's also underrated as an anime flick also.

It's slept on, idk why. It's directed by the team that did ninja scroll. I wouldn't call it a sequel perse since it's a whole new story about a new macleod.
