mine is trife life

that bassline :whew:
Love trife life. An argument can legit be made that any song is the best on the album.

I love Party Over and that's a popular choice for the worst. I always loved the chime in the beat...drums are classic grime. Always reminds me of a hot summer night when it's like 85 degrees at night and everyone is out on the block.

party over is a favorite of mine too. great, dark way to close the album. i love the lonely fire sample in general (same as suicidal thoughts)

i remember going through lonely fire the first time and going :ohhh: hearing all the samples

It rotates for me, so I start playing the lesser played songs like Up North Trip and Party's Over.

It's either Start of Your Ending or Eye for an Eye as the best IMO
Give Up The Goods might be my favorite hip-hop song period but Survival of the Fittest, Up North Trip, QU-Hectic, Eye For An Eye, and Trife Life are all strong candidates too lmao

IDK, I just know QU Hectic is the best song on the album.
There's just so much urgency in that fukking beat. Perfect war anthem

I've spent 2+ decades curating grimy playlists and Eye for an Eye is the grimiest beat of all time imho.

*This doesn't mean the song is bad*

I legit love every song on The Infamous, and I have an idea of what I expect the popular choice for worst song.

I'm gonna get a lot of heat for this, but to me, the weakest song is "Drink Away the Pain" (SONG IS STILL CLASSIC). The song is dope, the concept is fire...but Havoc's verse is pretty weak ("One sip, I thought the bytch was a fukkin' warlock" :dahell: ) and the upbeat production didn't fit the overall griminess of the album especially sandwiched between the ultra-bleak "Cradle to the Grave" and all-time grimy anthem, "Shook Ones."

Same, need to bump this tonight :wow:

That chick can't sing!

Crystal Johnson that was discovered by Quincy Jones and was the vocal coach for Jodeci, Anthony Hamilton, Tamia, Usher, Christopher Williams, Gerald Levert, and mad other legends in the 90's. But now she "can't sing"?

Come on, bro.

:what:

Drink away the pain or cradle to the grave

Both are dope songs tho there’s no bad songs on here. Those just happen to be the worst ones on here for me. Whole album is classic and so is these two joints. Either way this album is one of the true greats.
