If we're going back to preseason then there were like 40 people who claimed Lonzo Ball was gonna show out this year including one who said he'd be 2nd-team All-NBA.
But we trying to keep this to hot takes based on actual early games.

This isn't a hot take. The Kings are back to being a dumpster fire. 
My mind's blown that hot take posts/threads are even being made after ONE game as if we didn't just have the fukking TORONTO RAPTORS beat the shyt out of the Warriors to win the fukking NBA Finals.
How does anyone think they can predict anything? People had an entire 82-game season played out after halftime of Clippers/Lakers.

. We get that one every few weeks like the “Lebron fell off” threads that come up every 2-3 weeks.
Someone just said that Trae's one game against the Pistons proves that he's better than Luka and the debate is over. 
Remember back in 2015 the Cavs with Kyrie and Love were like 17-15 or some shyt in January. Fast forward to June and they're reaching Game 6 of the Finals even WITHOUT Kyrie or Love.
Hell, the 2012 Heat were being completely written off by Woj and company as late as Game 5 in the ECF.
How many people had Dallas coming out over LA, OKC, Chicago, Boston, Miami to win the 2011 title?
In 2010 the Celtics played like shyt up until the last few weeks of the season, then would have pulled their 2nd ring if not for Perkins getting hurt in Game 6.
