Worse finals performance: 2011 Lebron or 2016 Curry?

-Started the corpse of Mike Bibby for the entire series along with Joel Anthony. Two players who were ZERO threat to score. Heat basically started every game with a 3-on-5 disadvantage.

-Came up with ZERO offensive gameplan. Not just for the Finals, for the entire series. It wasn't until the second season he implemented something resembling an offense after talking to Chip Kelly.

-The Heat looked like a JV high school team facing the zone defense the Mavs threw at them. Not one adjustment was made to counter.

2011 bron was the worst ever

I agree, it was just so baffling to watch him play after game 3. I remember when Miami went up 2-1 and was just thinking that the Mavs simply couldn't match Wade and Bron from a physical and talent stand point, then the wheels flew off and those vets on the Mavs smelled a championship oppurtunity and went all in.

None of this had to do with Bron averaging 17ppg


You can't coach around Lebron being terrible

Bron's performance was worst by far. He didn't reach his average in any game while Curry at least had a couple of games where he did his thing.

Curry put up decent points. Leave on was truly mind boggling in that Mavs series. The Cavs bullied Steph around the court, but I give them more credit than I knock Steph. Bron just looked lost in the Mavs series, it was bizarre.

damn near all of the blame falls on him. but that doesnt mean carlisle didnt coach cirles around spolestra in that series.

not even close. It was definitely lebron. Curry had several good games, including scoring 30+ twice. Lebron was scared to post up barea for christ's sake

Its a lot closer. Curry was abysmal defensively. LeBron played very good defense and racked up 7 assists. Curry averaged more turnovers than assists and shot 40% from the floor.

LeBron's high wasn't as good as Curry.

Curry put up empty numbers in games 5 and 6.

I'd say LeBron because it was so shocking though.

i can see a case being made for curry having a worse finals considering they had the best record and he didn't show up...
