I disagree, that's more about their level of maturity/what peeks their interest.

Albeit true, we can define maturity in a lot of ways but I am sure we can all agree on experiences\circumstances is the main catalyst for maturity.

However, if you live in the states, it is safe to say that most go through these experiences that expedite the maturation process later in life as opposed to earlier.

Most being the key, you can't group everyone. I've been very interested in many things from a young age, and it did have plenty to do with my experiences.

It's not really "creepy" but the abandoned city of Pripyat, Ukraine due to the radiation accident in 86 is :damn:

My local church brings over some Ukranian radiation affected kids every summer. Some of the stories they tell are:ohhh:

Kids born within a radius of the area are born very sick:to:

I heard if you're too close for TOOOO long, you're :weirdo:

Its sad as f*ck watching all the deformed kids. Still happy and enjoying life. Making the best of things. Makes you realise how lucky you are.

There but for the grace of god go I.

Mount Everest - There are a ton of dead bodies up there because they have no way to get the bodies down. In addition there are known "dead zones" where if you get caught in that area you're almost certain to die.

The Open Graveyard of Mt. Everest's "Death Zone"
In the 56 years since the first men in history reached the top, 216 people have died, and the grim reality of the horrific conditions of the Final Push is that 150 bodies have never been, and likely can never be, recovered. They are all still there, and located, almost without exception, in the Death Zone.

Here's one of George Mallory where he has lain since falling to his death in 1924

Bodies lay exactly where the climber last took a "rest". Most of the time they take a rest and dont wake up.
