- On PS4, the light bar will flash red and blue when you’re being chased by the cops.
- Also on PS4, you can touch the touchpad to switch modes between first- and third-person. There will be a few options to control when the game’s in first-person and when it switches back to third – you can have it so that shooting is in first-person but it snaps back to third-person when you’re in cover, for instance.
- The PC version is 4K compatible and PS4/Xbox One versions will run at 1080p/30fps. I mean, we knew that already, but now we know it’s definitely true. It looks beautiful.
- All the vehicles have had their interiors re-done to take advantage of first-person view. All the dials work!
- Police radio and phone calls are now emitted by the DualShock 4′s speaker.
- Swiping the touch panel now changes weapons and radio stations.
- Los Santos is now filled with different animals; those monsters at CVG discovered that fluffy cats aren’t bullet-proof
- There are thousands of new first-person animations for reloading weapons, parachuting, and other activities.
- The phone is now a 3D object, and selfie mode is even more creepily realistic than before.
- You can create first-person-only missions in GTA Online. WHERE ARE THE HEISTS, THO
- There’s new pedestrian chatter to go with the 100s of new songs and radio shows.
- Everybody loves the new rail gun.
- You can see bullet-holes in your OWN BODY now.
You want a peanut butter cookie?
FP view doesn't look off. Your rep looks off though. Anyway the FPS mode looks really good for a game that was third person in the first place. Everyone thinks it looks great but you and the other shytty poster in here are surprisingly the only two in here sounding salty. Eat a cock breh
Lol @ Reachthemonster dapping you up. Like father like son. You two nikkas are truly shytty posters. Offer nothing but and smileys.
It happens in Fallout, but I never hear people bytch about it.So everytime some wonky physics show up the camera is gonna abruptly cut to a different perspective. Doesn't sound like a tight first person experience to me. Sounds rather "tacked on" as @BasedPrime put it
No it doesn't, and fallout is a slow paced rpg with simple very grounded physics. You can't jump fences and get hit by cars.It happens in Fallout, but I never hear people bytch about it.
Yes it does. If you get knocked downNo it doesn't, and fallout is a slow paced rpg with simple very grounded physics. You can't jump fences and get hit by cars.

I hope they pull online off better. Online was too cumbersome and clunky to set up. It took forever to find matches for certain activities and then the aiming acceleration was garbage compared to MP3 so it made TDM wack imo. If the game controls well in FPS mode then online should be improved by a significant margin.Take the 30-player “Sandy Shores Race” out in Blaine County. It was Sanchez dirt bikes only, and the match host had it locked so that everyone had to race from the first-person perspective (the host can also force third-person view, or give players a choice). Through my helmet and goggles – any vehicle that necessitates a helmet includes its own custom first-person view, with the Buzzard helicopter’s being perhaps the coolest – I saw two dozen riders in front of me, all kicking up dust into my face as we sped away from the starting line. I was just getting a good feel for the high-speed racing from such an intense perspective (thanks for training me for this moment, Forza Motorsport series!), when WHAM! – I was rammed from behind by a Rockstar tester who’d decided to go for the win, sportsmanship be damned. This is GTA, after all…
Oh, and then there was that one 30-player Last Team Standing match where I contributed exactly nothing while riding along in the passenger seat of a pickup truck, so I pulled RT on the controller and was delighted to see that, once again from the first-person view, I could flip people off. So I rode around, useless save for my gleefully extended middle digit.
Fortunately, all of this added fun in the upgraded version of Grand Theft Auto Online for Xbox One and PS4 also brings with it the chance to add way more detail to your avatar, even if you’re importing one from the Xbox 360 or PS3 (of note: stats can also be tweaked when importing, effectively allowing for a re-spec). The character creator in GTAO now rivals that of peak Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf, allowing you to customize no less than your eyes, nose, nose profile, nose tip, cheeks, cheek shape, lips, and more. Each has its own spectrum in which to tweak each individual setting.
