They won't most likely :mjcry:. They didn't release any modding tools before and I doubt they will this time. I have a feeling Rockstar doesn't like modding.

I remember having to download old patches of gta iv to get certain mods to work. :why:

I don't see why they wouldn't embrace modding. it can only help sell the game on PC. plus using something like Steam Workshop is kinda like an additional layer of DRM, since you can keep that content exclusive to people that own the game on Steam (not saying people couldn't find away around that, or get the same content elsewhere)

I didn't think GTA IV had anything. Could be wrong though, but I thought it was all done outside of Rockstar tools.

Edit: Yeah, It's not moddable right out of the box. There's no official support

Tired of nikkaz crying bout heist shut up. At this point they couldn't live up to the hype anyway of a year plus delay. I'll take the game how it is ain't holding my breath.

First person mode in GTA 5 significantly alters game play. Controls respond much more like a traditional FPS. Players are given a choice between assisted aim and free aim modes, and Online players are pooled by which setting they opt into. Thus, free aiming online combatants will play against and with other free-aiming players.



Each of these two modes can be further tweaked:

  • Assisted Aim – Full: Traditional instant GTA 5 targeting
  • Assisted Aim – Partial: Short lock-on period
  • Free Aim – Assisted: Brief initial lock on and under-the-hood aim assistance.
  • Free Aim: No lock on.
Players may switch at the touch of a button between first and third person control modes. Additionally, a large number of situation presets are available which automatically switch the camera when certain conditions are met. These options are fully customizable.


For example, if a player wants to automatically shift from first-person shooting to third-person perspective when taking cover, and back to first when taking a shot, that configuration can be easily preset.

Complete first-person toggles:

  • On-foot - 1st or 3rd
  • Cover - 1st or 3rd
  • Driving - 1st or 3rd
  • Ragdoll - 1st or 3rd
An option also exists to disable head-bobbing in first-person. Field of view is also adjustable in first person control mode. :ohhh:The mini-map also shifts perspective a bit toward first-person when operating in first-person mode.

Control schemes are adjustable, with remappings more in line with traditional FPS control schemes than GTA V's original controls. Run, for example, may be remapped from a face button to the L3 stick. Push-button grenades are also available.

FIRST PERSON IN VEHICLES
Vehicles each have individually mapped, high-resolution interiors, with working guages and radio displays. Perspective includes passengers sitting alongside (Chop, for example, animates in the passenger seat when taken along for a ride). Players automatically don filtered helmets when entering certain vehicles. First person driving drops perspective to eye level through the windshield, and can be switched on the fly at the touch of a button between 1st and several traditional 3rd person driving modes.

Updates for Xbox One, PS4 and PC
Alongside the visual overhaul that will come with the upgraded release of GTA5, content additions will also be present for new and returning players. So far, Rockstar has announced the following updates for all players

  • Increased player cap in GTA Online
    Grand Theft Auto Online can now support up to 30 players on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
  • Monkey Mosaics
    Players who find and photograph all this simian-themed graffiti will earn new ape outfits for their characters to wear. Returning players also earn an exclusive reward.
  • Classic GTA vehicles
    Many fan-favorite vehicles from previous Grand Theft Auto games will be returning for new and old players alike.

In reality I've said the same thing about the state of decay remaster coming, but at least that one has some new content coming with it.

GTA V was a good, yet disappointing game that just came out last year. It did not deserve a remake, at least not yet. They still have not fixed the original fukking game yet. They didn't even add any missions or new locations. It's literally just the PC version of the game.

If you like to double dip fine. But there's no need to furiously attack people who don't.

even though i know i'll cop it sometime along the way, you aint lyin breh.

Rockstar never released modding tools and stopped embracing modding all together after the Hot Coffee incident...Rockstar lost a lot of money from that law suit and it was really all their fault...All modders did was activate one line of code Rockstar purposely left there...

We don't need their modding tools anyway, the GTA modding community is one of the largest and most active...OpenIV has already decrypted the 360 version of V and parts of the map have been transferred over to IV...All we want from Rockstar is for them not to lockdown the file structure with the same DRM they used on MP3...They really fukked us MP fans over with that bullshyt...

GTA V next gen is basically COD/Battlefield 4/Far Cry/Forza Horizon mixed with the already ambitious GTA V except finally realized to the best in full HD. :wow:

Imagine the impact this would've had had this never came out on last gen and this was our first time seeing GTA V?? We'd be going crazy.

Will be for me :umad:
