Working out while Fasting...

Its Ramadan and Im fasting for a month. Last year I gain fat and lost serious muscle :to:


Any way of avoiding this mistake again? I have already changed my diet meaning no more fast food and up my protein but 3 cups a day.

I honestly can't think of a way where you wouldn't see some detonation of muscle and fat gain. Just keep your diet real clean and try to work out at night?

same here breh, I guess I will have too just eat and hit the gym in the am while the food is still in me

I started doing IF last sunday and I only eat between 5p-11p just gotta make sure you get all your nutrients in that time. I feel good havent lost any weight or strength.

I end the night with a few eggs, and casein and I'm good drinking water throughout the day.

thats the thing I cant drink water, or eat from sunrise to sunset. Im gonna get some casein though

I am fasting too. Work out after Iftar. Get your macros in the time you can eat. Make sure you get enough protein and have a casein shake at suhoor.

Just on maintenance mode this month, trying to minimize any muscle or strength loss. :yeshrug:
