I don't care that WrestleMania is extra long, it's fine. I have people over usually and we will be eatin food and shyt and chillin during the kickoff in and out of the room. The other PPVs though.. they don't need to be that long. That's a chore.
And that's the way it should be. It can't be that way for 12 Sundays, not for Battleground and Extreme Rules. Leave dual-brand Sundays for Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, MITB, Summer Slam and Survivor Series. Once every 10 or 11 weeks, 5 times out of the year. That old school feeling.
That's when you need all day to cook, and have friends over. That's when you break out the grill, or crockpot and make a dessert and popcorn.
Who's winning the Rumble? Who's getting a Wrestlemania moment? Who's winning the briefcase? Nobody wants to spend their Sunday evening in July watching a 5 hour Battleground show.
Leave brand exclusive PPVs for weekdays. Pick up a pizza, order chinese, chipotle. For that night condense RAW or SD to a 1 hour pre-show, and then 2 hours on the network.
Do Extreme Rules from Hammerstein Ballroom, jack up the ticket prices for that.
A 5 hour dual-brand sunday show, followed by a 3 hour Monday Night RAW and a then Smackdown is too much every month.
