Just couldn't watch another season with Gary at the plate again. Will wait to see how this works out.

They might as well announce that they're bringing back Gardner and Austin Romine so I can find something else to do this summer.

Kiner-Falefa can pick it at SS, but on the Yankees, you'll be hard pressed to see Boone send him to run (and that's his only decent skill offensively).

I think they're praying Donaldson looks like the guy who had a .900 OPS in Atlanta, but I'd almost be certain that DJ's gonna wind up playing as much 3B as he does because he gets nicked up so much. That Donaldson is not coming back.

They added more money on a wish and a prayer, guaranteed a dead spot in the lineup (the Yankees really think Higgy is Martin Maldonado, and Maldonado, as elite as he is defensively, couldn't get away with hitting as bad as he does in lineup, so they have a lot of nerve expecting Higgy to play more often than not.)

They still didn't add a lefty, they have a clusterfukk in the infield, and the Yankees really wanna test whatever depth they have because everyone on that team is gonna wind up on the IL.

and before anyone even implies it, it's not even about trading Gary or Gio. Those were inevitable moves. If they're going the Volpe route, then IKF might have to do even though I don't expect much. Donaldson at his salary is this team thinking they can milk one more good year or two out of aging players.

This is what I said in October regarding catching targets:

Jorge Alfaro on the Marlins, Willson Contreras on the Cubs (this will be costly), or Mitch Garver on the Twins (this would be plan A for me). Otherwise they may have to keep Gary.

Two of them got moved, one of them being Garver the other day.

They legitimately think they have a championship roster that just happens to be unlucky in big time situations.
I'm tired of hearing "the playoffs are a crapshoot" shyt. It's an excuse for them saying they're just happy to make the playoffs.
