There are two kinds of campus law enforcement. One is an actual law-enforcement agency where officers have to go through a police academy just like a street cop. The other is campus security where security officers have walkie talkies, mace and flashlights as weapons. They might as well be carrying Fleshlights.
Really, this student should have gone to the real police and/or got in contact with the county/city District Attorney's office.
College police are not really prepared for real police work. She has an easy civil case and could get bricks of 'cash monay' for that officer's statement regarding peanut butter.

yea i know alot do, i remember my freshmen year some dude got stabbed like 16 times in front of the freshmen dorms cause he was tryna talk to some white guys girl or sum shyt and the college pulled EVERY stop to make sure no one really knew about it or see it in the paper or anything. only reason i knew about it is cause i saw all the blood streaming in front of the glass doors for the dorms
