But for younger impressionable women, growing up in the social media era, where a lot of these IG chicks that look more "exotic" are being praised and put on pedestals, I can see why they find it hurtful that he's yet another man that has expressed his disinterest in women that look like them. On the other hand, you can't force someone to be attracted to you. You have to understand that not everyone will find you attractive.
