10 years ago I had a party at the crib and one dude I known well invited his co worker. I found her passed out in the backyard on a picknick bench after the party moved indoors. It was dark out at this time. Not knowing her well I informed my friend her co-worker that she was out cold and might need to rest in the guest room. My friend took her upstairs and I went back to partying. Thought nothing of it. Till the party ended up in a fight at 4a.m. DJ packed up and dipped... House started emptying out. Then I realized I hadn't seen my boy in some hours and that girl. Come to find out this clown who was supposed to put her in the guest room to sleep took her to another room and tried to get into bed with her.

I wouldn't have realized any of this if it wasn't for the fight and the house emptying out. I was so mad at dude I couldn't talk to him or look him in the eyes. As Black men nobody is more of a liability to us than our social circle. By the time we are young men it is imperative that we should have tightened our circles. This is crucial for our very survival.

They’re even more of a lick than athletes and rappers because they’re not used being around women of that (physical) caliber, so they’ll trick their money off and provide them with an even larger platform, just in the hopes of being with them.

Couldn't catch me at a party with a bunch a young dudes with alcohol and weed now, and I'm 27. A lot of people don't have any decorum, they can't act properly with women, alcohol, weed, nikkas with egos in the mix. It's just a recipe for disaster.

Actually reminds me of a similar story I heard about on campus; one girl was drunk and got raped by some dude. Girl ended up getting pregnant and dropping out of school... It’s unfortunate but this is a lesson young ladies have to learn/understand. You are never safe in a party setting it around a bunch of strange men. I wasn’t sleeping at no dude’s house, in his dorm, etc. Only my actual long-term boyfriend and even then none of his boys were alone with me. He had 1 friend I knew was a good guy and trusted, but still, you always have to have your guard up.

This shyt happens frequently in the “party scene” and men do it because they knew they would get away with it. A LOT of shyt goes unreported. Or the women aren’t believed because they are a “party girl”.
