The dogs were defending their territory. WTF, the dogs supposed to roll out the red carpet for large random animals to stroll in their vicinity? They weren't in the bears territory the bear was in theirs?

Bears will rarely attack agressive humans, hell Bears will run from little ass cats.
Bears aren't some reckless savages they don't even eat human meat from what I remember, we had an Air BnB in Tennessee last September and a whole Bear family pulled up and watched us for a minute. A mama and 2 cubs and she wasn't paranoid about her cubs (the owners of the Air BnB said the Bears there are used to human interaction, just don't be stupid and get super close). The cubs were wrestling with each other, it's like they were performing for us
. It was like 30 of us there and the Bears stuck around for a lil bit.This was my first encounter ever with a wild animal.
It was beautiful. Michigan nature sucks we ain't got nothing exotic here

Bears are scared of agression and are naturally friendly, you can walk right past most bears in areas where they are near civilization.
