This is what some posters here want. They're cool with kids and families dying because they see them as a drain on the economy and contributing to the violence in their community.
As far as they're concerned it's her own fault for trying to escape. I expect this to become so common that news outlets just start covering it like the people who have lost their homes and are now dying in the street because less than 12 dollars an hour won't cover rent, groceries and other necessities.

Now, I am sorry that the woman and her children died. I do not think they should have allowed them to drown if what is alleged happened is true. Still, I am definitely anti-illegal immigration. I have read enough studies to understand how it negatively affects many of my people. With the majority of my people (6/10) not college and trade-school graduates, they compete directly with any large population of other low to non-skilled ethnicity that arrives in their area. With their competition being illegal, the price of labour is pushed even further downward for those who are in the 6 of 10 category I mentioned.

in short term, we just have to suck it up..... if our politicians (repugs and democrats) were serious about solving this issue the american people would give them space to implement ideas.... this has been going on for decades and getting worse and worse and it is reaching a breaking point....
