Whats funny is that i actually used my phone to lock down an apartment from a sleazy landlord.
I gave him a deposit without a written contract to hold an apartment for me. But i recorded the conversation (making sure i mentioned certain details).
Recorded every conversation we had until there was a point where dude said he spent all my money and the apartment wasn't available.
I played back the recording and told him i had every convo since the beginning... And normally i would fukk him up but that would not guarantee i get my money or have proof of him stealing the money..
So i told him I'm going to go to my Navy Jag (lawyer for us military personnel... Completely free) with all my evidence and going to sue the fukk out of him and his complex if i dont get the apartment i wanted without any deposit right then...
He linked me up to a lady who was renting out the best condo in the lot in Hawaii... Hardwoods floors, newly renovated, top floor and got it for a steal...
Bottom line, a phone works fine

I just like using specialised hardware. Don't wanna get a call while I am recording for example.
