Both.
Just look at the boxers u named, and I suppose those are the top guys.
only good win on there was areola.
Sanders, and ross only look good cuz they were fighters that beat wlad, fights wlad shouldn't have lost to.
He was giving a good fight to Lewis but was stopped to cuts and his shoulder was injured with byrd.. he still didn't beat them...
So ademek, corrie and areola and that's it basically..
Look at wlad list
Chris Byrd (2)
David Haye
Alexander Povetkin
Calvin Brock
Tony Thompson (2)
Kubrat Pulev
Samuel Peter (2)
Eddie Chambers
Ruslan Chagaev
And after that u add how long he's been doing this, the title defenses.
I like Vitali and agree with u that he was the better fighter, as in dominate... if he would have stayed active and didn't have injuries he would be ranked higher.
Vitali was bigger, granite of a chin.. looked to have the heavier hand.. fought with hands down... wlad is more technically sound, the conventional stlye
Don't know if that makes sense, I'm a little
I think you're giving Wlad a little more credit for some of those names - let's be clear the last decade of Heavy Weights have not been as good as the 90's, 80's, and 70's. That's my opinion and we could argue that they haven't look as good because Wlad is just that much more of a greater fighter.
So, not hating on Wlad (although I hope he does lose to Wilder) just questioning that list . I mean you have David Haye who should realistically be a cruiser weight. I give credit to Povetkin an Pulev and Chagaev - but they work right in Wlad wheel house.
Gone are the years of big athletic american fighters (they opt to play basketall and football) and it has weaken the heavyweight division. Again, not hating but I think it lessens a bit his dominance - it's like Calazaghe staying in a division and fighting guys he's clearly better than and then beating overthehill fighters (although looking back him beating Hopkins was a legitimate notch)
