I mean you gotta realize something about the game. The reason nikkas in the 70's and the 80's got a pass for looking like space aliens was cus they was actually pimpin ho's and doin hi-powered drugs that most squares couldn't even afford.
Far as anybody know this nikka Wiz is fukkin Amber Rose some shyt YOU can't afford.
As long as you know who YOU are inside you can play the game.
It's entertainment. The real problem in society is the Homies over Hoes closeted Gangstalicious type nikkas that swear they brolic and secretly hugged up with nikkas spreading that monster to unsuspectful women that don't know they Victoria Secret Pink on the DL.
Wiz lookin pretty SUSS on that cover but in the larger scheme of the music biz he's just being creative. We just lost our appreciation for that side of things when the recession hit and survival mode kicked in. Nobody gave a lazy fukk when 3000 was doin that wild shyt back in the Stankonia era, cause nikkas was

This is actually a good point. Look at end of the day it's music, no matter what album cover he has, if you don't like him you aren't buying his music anyway and if you are a real fan, this shouldn't change things. Look dude went for a different type of look that he was feeling at the moment and it clearly worked you have 4 or 5 threads dedicated to how 'gay' his album cover is.

And entertainment is about VISUALS as well as AUDIO

Yeah that's what I'm saying, but I can partially understand the criticism.
Cause it doesn't really feel authentic or natural as the ones who came before him, but then again I've not really been paying too much attention to his movement and basically just his music. That's why I can't say anything bad about it.

yeah..it does look "abrupt' and "contrived" on his part...
but growth is growth and i'm all for somebody doing something different...
hell ANDRE 3000 went from rocking jerseys and riding around in Lacs to wearing kilts and wigs......and it was reflected in his music as well...
so maybe it's just a case of Wiz trying to add on to his artistic development
but i think it also reflects the direction of his music...
WIZ music has been sounding very POPish lately.....
so he might can pull this off

it's not like he's the 'TRAPPER OF THE YEAR"..or "BOSS RAPPER" type of character.......

i'd rather WIZ put on some FUNNY CLOTHES and experiement with his sounds then to do something really GIMMICKY such as getting caught with BRICKS on his tour bus or going out of his way to DISS another artist just for publicity..... i'm all for it....cause at the END OF THE DAY...
WIZ AIN'T GONNA HURT NOBODY BUT HIMSELF from a marketing standpoint....and THAT'S THE RISK HE'S WILLING TO TAKE and I RESPECT HIM FOR THAT....
it's a BUSINESS.....and the most important aspect of maintaining a BRAND is to ADAPT or display some GROWTH.....
