I like Wiz as a person but he comes off as corny af in his raps sometimes. I like this mixtape but some of the shyt is says is wild cringey lol. Wish Cardo and them would have saved these beats for Larry, Premo and Payroll.

The example is the whole album. This is Wiz's best since KOJ imo but if you put this next to any recent Curren$y project you can hear the difference

They were both basically the same guy at one point but in 2021 Curren$y reflects on life, talking about raising his kid, and dropping relatable life lessons in-between the weed & bytches talk they both do. If it turned out this was actually ONIFC or even Rolling Papers 1 demo instead of a new project would it surprise anyone?

You could only question it bc the voice sounds raspier and he didn't have McQueen liquor back then, which he lets you know he has now, multiple times a song.

Wiz had a kid before Spitta and has way more money and access but none of it makes way to his music. For folks listening to Currensy the last decade plus you can feel like you've grown with him. There's a big difference in Regatta & Covert Coup subject material, Wiz never made it past the Covert Coup phase.

breh, curren$y been saying the same shyt for a decade. i'm a top 1% spitta listener damn near every year on spotify and aint no way he's saying shyt worth zoning into while releasing 6-10 projects/year.

That’s multiple Spitta releases a year years ago is why I got exhausted from his music. Thankfully his last few releases have been very fresh
