That's why it pays to have a great reputation with vets who play with your organization. Idgaf if its a busniess or not. You do right by people. Even with j stew, yeah we released him but I still think we've always done good with our people. And people see that.

We coulda got rid of him bad years but we stayed down. He slid in the starting role after Angelo when we could have blown up the position. We got a 2nd chance reputation

I see this in the same mold of when the squad signed Stephen Davis. Hopefully he has the same impact.

I was thinking the same thing. I can easily see them keeping a veteran back paired with CMC for his career with us. It makes sense, it's worked for us before. Like you said that year we had Stephen Davis paired with DeShaun Foster
