I just can't see it. republicans are projected to regain both the house and senate in 2022 and you bet they will
impeach Biden in the house and will politicise and hold hundreds of hearing about his handling of afganistan withdrawal that will make benzaghi's hearing look like childs play and the media will continue to amplify the GOP messaging and the average low information independent voter (who typically decides elections) will eat it all up.

Throw in their fear mongering about the southern border and the economy and I just don't see a path for dem to maintain their control of congress and the presidency. Is my reading on this wrong?

exactly, the Dems are not trying to merge with the progressives and it’s making them a stagnant party by default. If Biden implements a few progressive policies he would have the party behind him fully.

He’s just been this stubborn fukk about it and seeking to be moderate. Which equates to not doing much. It’s still really early in his term as President but right now it feels like he is stuck on neutral.

No, the goal was to get 2000 checks, they compromised/got beat into it only being 600, dems ran on getting the full 2000 it should’ve been. Not 2600
