I just can't see it. republicans are projected to regain both the house and senate in 2022 and you bet they will
impeach Biden in the house and will politicise and hold hundreds of hearing about his handling of afganistan withdrawal that will make benzaghi's hearing look like childs play and the media will continue to amplify the GOP messaging and the average low information independent voter (who typically decides elections) will eat it all up.

Throw in their fear mongering about the southern border and the economy and I just don't see a path for dem to maintain their control of congress and the presidency. Is my reading on this wrong?

All of the above is a definite possibility but I also think that a lot of people are going to look at this like a challenge too. The fact that the GOP has continued to show their asses on Covid is going to resonate with many people.

and even trump himself to draw up articles of impeachment for Biden

Ok let's ignore everything else for now, explain to me how dem will/can overcome the voter suppression laws being put into place all over the nation.
some states have literally replaced their sec of state with pro maga radicals and also handed over the power to certify result of the election to partisan operativ, so even if by miracle dem win the presidency, they can simply refuse to certify the result and cry fraud again.

We did vote and we got them the Georgia senators. They lied and screwed us over almost immediately with the 2000 dollar stimulus promise. When are you guys gonna stop blaming the people and not the guys who go in and get us almost nothing. Ofc they lose they barely do anything meaningful they can hang their hat on and campaign with.
