Mayweather fights remind me of Nas records. Can't deny the greatness of the artist, but the albums always leave you a bit wanting. The hype for the album, leaked tracklist (which never turns out to be true), street single, etc., have you anticipating some NYC Jux ish, but it never happens. Same with Mayweather, he's gonna work the body, he's gonna look for the knockout, he's gonna be pushed, etc.. Same ol sh!t

Real talk, I'm wondering if TMT overestimated their popularity? They were clowning Thurman something serious, at least Leonard's punk azz was. Talking bout Thurman doesn't know the business and he hasn't earned it only for TMT to pick Broner. Oops, I meant Berto. Then again, Showtime is ok with this, meaning those PPV figures from the Pacquiao fight were good enough for Showtime to acquiesce to a Berto fight. As far as Showtime is concerned, they got their money's worth from the last fight and then some.
