Nope but their opposition is VERY similar especially LSC sparring partners and all so it's funny to see nikkas who shyt on him stan Cruz. Maybe he should pander more to Mexicans.

Thurman is also an undefeated KO artist, who currently is a Champion who has only faced 1 Top 10 opponent as well

Low expectations will create reactions like that. The boxing community labeled LSC as a Figueroa type fighter destined to get outclassed by any top tier fighter in his division. So the pendulum will swing hard the other way when he shows actual boxing skill and enough sense to fight behind his jab.
It's the same reason a lot of people hopped on the Wilder train after the Stiverne fight.
He can actually box?
