These days most people have smartphones and social media. If a crime is committed, someone will have it on camera.
George Floyd's murder was going to be swept under the rug had it not been filmed and put out to the entire world within 24hrs.
A protest is also a threat. It tells the state "this is how many people are angry at you. What is your plan if these many people refuse to work, or if they start shooting back?"
People are going to realize the only person whose job it is to defend their rights....is them. Organizing will be far more important, and will be easier due to communication networks on social media. By reducing law enforcement funding and having bumbling idiots who don't respect or understand technology, they're limiting the capacity to spy on and disrupt organizing efforts.
If someone is lynched, it's caught on camera and sent out, that won't just activate people here, that will activate people living abroad who can send money for legal fees for anyone who paints the street with nazi brain matter. They want to fukk around, they'll find out. Most people only know what antifa is because they rose in REACTION to empowered white supremacists. They didn't make the news when Biden was president because they weren't showing up to street fight white supremacists or to counter protest them since white supremacists did not feel as bold with a Democrat in office. Now that they've got one of their own back in charge, they will be as adventurous as they are stupid. I look forward to seeing them face street justice in 4k.
