I'm glad we didn't give up Rui and Deni for Grant :whew:
The thing is he knows how to operate as a role player too. I think that was the appeal for some contenders. He's a better scorer than people initially thought, but still shouldn't be higher than 3rd or 4th option on a legit contender. He knows now he's on the worst team in the league so thinks it's his role to be the designated bucket getter. But Cade and Bey have improved to the point where I think they are better options and there's no reason for Grant to be on his dribble dribble shyt. I hope Weaver isn't really considering extending him, regardless of the amount of the contract. He just isn't a good fit.

Doesn’t make sense to resign Grant. Especially if Pistons get top 3 pick. 3 top prospects are all PFs (Chet, Banchero, Jabari). And I could also see them going hard at Bridges in FA
I 100 percent see Grant being traded to Portland as the bidding war could actuallly happen if the bulls don’t make a conference finals, lakers somehow lose their mind, Dallas wants a wing, wizards are determined to be mid, or a wild card 4-10th seed is desperate

Not his thumb. He just can’t shoot

Yes he can, mid range is there. Form is legit. Streak shooter at this point. The shot just needs to fall consistently. He Would easily average 10 plus assist per game if cats could not knock down shots/stop fumbling passes. He's at his best when allowed to be agressive, shot included (allowed to take good shots and not bail out end of the shot clock joints). His game is best suited pushing the rock and looking for his shot from the free-throw line circle on down in regards to his own offense. Let him continue to cook with the 2nd unit. :manny:

:mjlol: at cats thinking an injury to the largest and most important finger on your dominant hand wouldn't linger and affect your shooting, c'mon now:comeon:. It even affected his dribbling imo

Drafting Ivey and signing Bridges would be legit too.

Facts :myman: , him and Cade or even Killin'em on the break getting dimes would be monstrous

My confidence in Killian wains heavy. He and Cade foul so damn much on defense but Cade looks better running the offense than he does more often. Killian with Trey lyles actually wasn’t that bad and maybe he can build better chemistry with Bagley but idk. Kill needs to rehab those injuries and maybe try to be aggressive without getting little injuries like he’s been getting. I expect the jumper to improve next season because they just started working on it this year and he hurt his fukking thunb

I will give you this, you are always more patient with our young guys than I am willing to be. Once a nikka look like he can't hoop, then I'm done. He doesn't knock down that mid range jumper enough for me to consider it "there", and yeah he can pass, but his lack of scoring even takes away from some of that. It's not about him needing more time for me, he just don't look like a hooper. And if that's not there it doesn't usually finally show up once they got the league. Hope I'm wrong though, cause right now he doesn't have any real value as an asset.

Nothing but time on my hands/im just a patient dude:myman:. The team/organization as a whole hasn't done enough for me lately to get fully invested like that to the point im heated, its what to be expected with this roster, might as well let these cats run at least 30 minutes a piece consistently. I figure if cats made it to the point they get drafted and etc they cant possibly be a scrub, mentally they might be shook but that's different from skills. Quite a few of our failed picks were victimized by coaching (i.e Stan and Stan) or simply just would have faired better starting off at another org.

Some interior defense would have won us at least another 15-20 games so far imo.

Almost gave it away.

This team has had a couple of surprise victories after the new year
As long as they don’t fukk up a top 3 pick I’ll take some random surprise wins here and there. (As long as it’s not on nights I’m betting against them)

Grant always cooks in Boston
First game where Cade Bey and Grant ply well. This could be what Weaver and Casey thought they were getting this year.

Bey and Stewart look back to form

Bagley size and athleticism was badly needed

Cade needs another ball handler out there thats not Joseph or Hayes. He’s asked to do too much. Him turning into Luka/Harden isn’t whats best for overall team. Starting to like a Cade and Ivey pairing
