Nice game by Cade tonight. Cade is the future. He’s better when he’s not playing off ball or jacking up threes

Not sure what pistons do with Killian though if they also want to also maximize his potential as PG

He's not good enough offensively to maximize Cade's abilities. Needs to be more than just a spot up 3 pt threat for them to work in tandem. I don't think it's bad thing to have multiple players that can effectively direct the offense on the floor, but it hurts when one of them is so flawed offensively.

Now on the other end, defensively they have the potential to be ex extremely disruptive, with their length and anticipation. Even as we've had guards ball out against us, a lot of it is the result of them having to over help because of poor rotations and having no real defensive threat in the middle.

I see some potential in Killian in both sides, but he would be best served to be the pg of the bench unit right now as he develops his game. Issue is we don't really have anybody much better to put next to Cade right now, so Killian's getting that spot by default. I would expect to see that change by next season though if we don't see major growth from Killian. This next draft is real important now.

I’m really not seeing an issue with trading for Ben Simmons if it doesn’t cost Bey or a 1st..if it’s some shyt like Grant/Killian/Josh Jackson for him I’d do that trade 100 times .

Now why would Philly ever consider that if they were hesitant on trading for CJ McCollum lol

Well Jerami has a bigger impact on winning based on his two-ability.His offensive game has developed enough that he can be a legit threat in a secondary role and if his load on O decreases we know what he can do on D .Against the Wing players at the top of the east he’s valuable.

CJ is redundant with Maxey and Seth already there ..they don’t need another score 20 give up 20 player ..Jerami gives them something they don’t have right now with Ben gone .

If that was the cost I’d take it easily ..hell lowkey if they wanted Stewart wouldn’t be upset to keep it 100.

I wouldn't either, I just don't believe that would be enough to get him, or else he would have been moved a long time ago. Detroit ain't keeping both Bey and a first. But I don't think it's much to the story anyway. This shyt ain't happening

Give them Bey then

He’s a role player ..you can’t be holding on to nikkas like that if you can get an All Star talent :yeshrug:

Killian/Stewart/Bey ain’t the type of nikkas to cry over losing .

Acquiring Simmons could help long term. He’s everything they want Killian to be but in bigger body and plus athleticism. Pistons would definitely be worse this year. Literally no shooting at all on roster if they trade Grant. Which means likely another top 5 pick. Cade can probably play with anyone. Still think he would be primary pg and Simmons would be PF where he should be. Doesn’t make sense for current roster but then you have to remember the current roster is one of the worst in NBA. 2nd worst record in nba last year and they pretty much ran it back with the same roster cade and olynk

I don't disagree per se. Only other issue is Ben is a soft malcontent, and it's gonna be way more rain on the Pistons team before they see some sunshine. He don't seem like the type that can weather through that for the eventual payoff. If he pulled this shyt on the first year of his big contract, you know damn well he won't have a problem doing it again if he don't like the situation.
