PC gamers nothing really changes since the publishers and developers that have been acquired will probably still release there games on PC.

With Sony's Jim Ryan saying they're going further into a multi-platform expansion the PC will become a neutral site where all games can be played. All that's needed is day 1 games on PC and that platform will be the best to own. No need to keep buying proprietary boxes.
