Yeah if Myles Turner could be had for James Wiseman, you have to make that trade if you're Golden State.

In some parallel universe James Wiseman could end up superstar but you take that risk because the window for the Warriors isn't wide open anymore.
Let their fans tell it championship windows open frequently

Everybody think they GOAT Franchise now:russ:

It won’t be straight up it will have to be Weisman and another player to make the money work… you can add looney, Kuminga, or Moody… Dubs not letting Kuminga go so it’s either Looney or moody packaged with Weisman.

Id package
Weisman, Moody and Kuminga for Turner and Duarte..

Dubs run the table next 2-3 years and JW,Kuminga and moody will start on a rebuilding franchise

I recall the warriors wanted Duarte

LOL, well I am not saying the Warriors can't win a championship or two in the coming years.

But right now, I'm not sure the Warriors have another 5-6 years the way they did in 2015.
A ton of their success hinges on Steph Curry and as he's approaching his mid-30s, you really want to squeeze out as much as you can if you're the Warriors ownership.

I don't think the path forward is to wait out Wiseman's growing pains as if he's going to one day carry an aginng Steph Curry to the title. As good as Wiseman can be some day, I don't see him becoming the next Nikola Jokic.
And if the team can get a guy like Myles Turner who could help immediately, I don't think you can just turn that down.

Asked Thursday if he could update the status of center James Wiseman, Warriors coach Steve Kerr’s initial response was an expression of exasperation.

Not with Wiseman, who continues to rehabilitate after mid-April surgery to repair a torn right meniscus, followed by a minor follow-up procedure in December. All the 20-year-old center wants is to get healthy enough to resume his nascent NBA career.

It’s the prolonged recovery process, with encouraging signs being dashed by interruptions, bringing layers of mystery to Wiseman’s return, that has the coach at wit’s end.

“Several times I’ve said, ‘Yeah, we were hoping he would have contact in the next week,’ and then he didn’t for one reason or another,” Kerr said before tipoff against the Pacers at Chase Center. “Then he had the swelling in his knee, then he had the procedure to flush the swelling out. So, there’s just been this extended time where he’s been out that has been most frustrating for him.

“The beat goes on. We’re still very hopeful that this is all going to happen, that he’s going to be out there soon in contact circumstances in practice. But at this point, I’m also aware that I’m ‘The Boy who cried Wolf’ a little bit.”

In short, Kerr and the Warriors still have no timeline for Wiseman’s return.

Wiseman's prolonged recovery process leaves Kerr exasperated

This is truly embarrassing from the front office. It's like they hoping their mistake will just go unnoticed.

Melo isn't fixing their frontcourt woes.

The sign a cheap big philosophy has failed big time on them. That's why they're here now.

They signed Cousins on some Black Friday shyt and it still didn't solve it.

Start doubling down on drafting bigs since their guards are set in stone.

Warriors fans blaming a kid for being injured. Wasn’t Steph injured for like 3 years to start his career? They don’t even care about Wiseman’s health, they just want him back to help Steph win games. Sick world we live in. LWO would never.
