Myers did the same mistake that Danny Ainge has done with the Celtics. Being in win now mode and sitting on his draft pick assets. Your franchise player is 33 years old who's the greatest player your franchise has ever had since Wilt Chamberlain 60s lol you don't draft these prospects.

Since like 80s only five times a #2 draft pick has had a hall of fame career.

There's always a team willing to trade their all-star/borderline all-star player for a high draft pick.
Like 7 times outta 10 the #2 draft pick is a bust, it's a no brainer you trade that pick.
What's even worse is, Myers is doubling down -

Yup he made a mistake. Should have traded the pick before choosing anyone. Now he imagines this Wiseman potential like he's going to become a dominant force pretty soon :dead:

Only 5 hall of famers so far have been drafted since the 80s with the #2 pick. Way too often teams choose a high risk high potential guys with that pick. The worst thing a contending team can do.

not trading him for myles turner is insane lmao best rim protector in the league paired with draymond? :scust:
And he's a legitimate stretch 5 too. Imagine the damage he'd do in Looney's role.

It's a cotdamn layup for the Warriors. The rest of the league is counting their blessings that GS doesn't want to pull the trigger on a trade that would put them over the top.

Yeah if Myles Turner could be had for James Wiseman, you have to make that trade if you're Golden State.

In some parallel universe James Wiseman could end up superstar but you take that risk because the window for the Warriors isn't wide open anymore.

Myers need to get off that bullshyt and I hope Steph Klay and Dray in his ear like listen we getting worked by legit bigs… If Weisman ain’t ready it’s ok to move on if the window to run the table for the next 2-3 years is now.. we got Minga and Moody

Mayne Warriors gotta take that if it’s JW for Turner straight up, and I’m not even that down in JW
It won’t be straight up it will have to be Weisman and another player to make the money work… you can add looney, Kuminga, or Moody… Dubs not letting Kuminga go so it’s either Looney or moody packaged with Weisman.

Id package
Weisman, Moody and Kuminga for Turner and Duarte..

Dubs run the table next 2-3 years and JW,Kuminga and moody will start on a rebuilding franchise
