I mean lets be reality here.

Carlin is a comedian, so he uses a lot of hyperbole in his bits. But at the same time, there is an underlying truth in the things he said.

I mean, honestly what are the major differences in policy between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney? Demagogues on the left & right paint these two as vastly different, but on the economy, on the wars, on so many issues they hold identical positions.

Now, I'm not saying that it's useless to vote ... but neither of these individuals will really have that great of an impact on your day-to-day lives.
