How do we know MVS even wanted to come back to N.O.? On paper Seattle looks like a better opportunity for him to get meaningful snaps vs. in N.O. (DK traded away, Lockett cut, he's got a good shot at being the #2 behind Njigba, whereas in N.O. he has no shot of starting in front of Olave or Shaheed), so maybe there was a offer on the table and he decided to go with playing time over money.
