The first episode was dope, 2 was not good, and 3 was horrible trash. Such a weird scene with the modernly dressed Australian sounding woman who just immediately dies. There was no point, it felt like complete filler. Why would she even sit down and tell a whole story in the middle of being chased? I feel dumb for even watching now. Pretty disappointed in how this is turning out.

yup. show was trash from the first episode. half the characters talk and act like b-level CW teenage show characters. it's very off putting and as a viewer i don't feel immersed into a time period becoming of what this show is supposed to be in.

Yeah, ep 3 wasn't the best :francis:. I heard from some reviewers, that it improves as it goes along so I might stick with it some.

Show has bad scene transitions, where it just seems like they cut to something abruptly and the action scenes are not edited well. The one in the rain towards the end was an example, hard to follow the action.

Episode 3 wasn't bad. I liked it. I like the characters, the plot is simple, and has the same tone of the movie. The action scenes are more modern, and not as good as the movie.

I do think this would've fared better as a movie, though.

This last episode is the best one IMO. Elora, Jade and Boorman are the only characters that don't annoy me. I'm disappointed in Willow. I was expecting him to be on some Yoda shyt. I can't stand Kit. I hope she dies I really do. I like the look of the Gales and I like the balance of cg and practical effects. I think this show has potential to build a very interesting fantasy world but it needs a better director. They need Jon Favreau

No Whammies!!
I just caught up after letting the last few episodes build up. I actually think the show got better since the first 2 episodes. I wouldn't call it 'great', but I like it enough that I'll probably watch it weekly now.

It's hard trying to continue the story from 1988 in 2022 like only 15 to 18 years has passed when its actually like 30 something. Then they had to introduce new characters and their story arcs while only 2 of the original actors/characters came back. It's starting to pick up and even though it's not Star Wars or Indiana Jones there are still signs of George Lucas's concepts and cues in it. I think Kit is going to turn Evil like her grandmother Bavmorda and Elora is gonna become like Fin Raziel.

Stuff like the "pop music" covers that run of the end credits used to bother me, but now that I know what to expect from the show I just accept it :manny:

Ok now we are getting somewhere. Willow is still getting on my nerves they completely did him like they did Luke Skywalker in the star wars sequels. Elora is more likeable than Rey tho......shyt they should have just called the show Elora

Yeah, part of my initial disappointment was that early episodes made Willow a side character in the show named after him.
