It's one of those things. I wouldn't want my daughter to wear that, however, the issues of it being sexual is more other peoples problem with sexualizing everything. Like we have men going topless on the regs 
but women can't do what they feel on account of religious brainwashing making these things to be ashamed of. Depending on my daughters personality and how she behaves generally, it may be something I wouldn't sweat if she bought it with her own money, and she understood what others would say about it.
Girls can wear spaghetti strap tops and catch hell if they are busty, when it isn't anyone's business, so this isn't even a point of contention if willow was my daughter. Long as she pays for it and isn't wearing it to school or any place where she knows it is bound to cause a shyt storm, she can roll with it, but she would have to be able to explain to me why she is drawn to it. It would be more acceptable to me as a father at 16, even though she would still get a talk, but at 14 she has to have sound logic and the means to procure it herself.

People get upset seeing women breastfeed in public, when that's what breasts are for. If we lived in another culture where women are normally topless, the shirt wouldn't be an issue. So maybe her mother doesn't see it as an issue and taught or gave her daughter the same perspective.
