heres how i look at it

is he gonna whine, and say it was rigged, and incite violence among his supporters? yes. i feel for any brehs who live in the south

but the republicans who remain standing on november 6th are gonna be majority establishment types, breathing a massive sigh of relief that they dont have to deal with this fakkit anymore. he wont have their support the second after the election is called. if theyve secured their offices, which is all they care about, why would they get behind a loser trying to tear the country apart?

and ultimately, the electoral college saves us here. hes gonna have to physically count votes/accuse individual states of cheating :childplease:

Even the most conservative of Republicans will respect 230 something years of precedent of peaceful handover of power. If Trump attempts to subvert a loss in the elections he will be opposed at every level of power.

Breh have you been living under a rock for the last 4 years:mjlol:

You still believe in the concept of principled republicans after everything we have seen since 2016?
trump might get a faction of republican congressmen who lose their seats, but the republicans who remain standing after the election get to keep grifting and exploiting the country for money. thats all they care about

why would they throw that away for donald trump?

You guys have gone off the deep end.

You really think Trump is going to turn dictator and retain power if he loses the election? :hhh:
You really think Turmp will accept defeat? You know he won't.

My theory has been when he loses he will claim it was rigged just like his tweets are saying. He will call on an investigation. Some republicans will echo his sentiments. After the investigation goes nowhere and Trump realizes he has no more cards to play he will go into full denial and temper tantrum mode.

He won't participate in the inauguration and won't attend (can any one you picture Trump at Bidens inauguration?)He will be on Fox or OAN and tweet out like he's still the president. He will probably divulge classified info out of spite. It'll be a huge shyt show and his followers will follow him off the cliff.

Also just this week we seen his cult members storm state capitals with their AR15s. That was a dry run. He didn't say one word about it and when they do it again in Nov he won't say anything either.

Listen to me Now, believe me later on.

also keep in mind this: we talk about josh hawley and nikki haley and tom cotton running in 2024. these politicians are always looking ahead to the next election

why would they get behind a coup for a loser, that jeopardizes THEIR future? you think 40 and 50 year old congressmen who want to be senators, and senators who want to be president, are gonna throw it away for a loser?

i think theres gonna be violence when he loses, and that will ultimately force republicans to condemn it and state that biden is the president, we have to move forward as a nation, etc

trump himself is gonna go through the 5 stages of grief, but ultimately he'll just blame his loss on the coronavirus

besides the massive blow to his ego, he'll secretly be relieved too. he doesnt actually want to be the president :mjlol: its all about his image

They may not get behind a coup but they have no problem getting behind a man who will try to start one.

not if theyve retained their seats though :yeshrug:

you think the average republican would rather jeopardize everything to get behind a coup led by donald trump, than just be a minority party member for the next two to 4 years of a biden presidency? :dead:
