Will the game ever see this combo of grace, skill, & style again?

:mjlol: kyrie has better everything that doesnt involve athleticism and physicality. make jordan 6’2 with trex arms, human size hands, and no explosiveness, does he even make the league???

This is a stupid hypothetical

Are we improving mikes handle passing jumper etc since he would have worked on them more?

Regardless, he’s still in the league

Be let’s not derail this thread from Layups to dunks.

I already made a thread about that :manny:

PROOF JORDAN IS THE GREATEST IN GAME DUNKER OF ALL-TIME?
I watched the first 3 minutes of your video. Dude is pretty much doing the same dunk off two with the palm every time. :snoop:

No one has posted any Jordan dunks as impressive as the aforementioned dunks I listed. Also to say Jordan is the greatest in game dunker when his windmill and alley game wasn’t close to VC’s and VC postered all the rim protectors of his era and dunked clean over a man in game. :camby:

The purpose was pretty much facial/poster dunks not really “dunk contest” dunks.

You don’t think Jordan could do windmills every time?

MJ just had his signature style of dunk which was more popular back then

I’ll say Vince did more creative dunks (360s, reverses, windmills, etc) but Jordan caught more bodies. Vince was kinda soft in that department

And Jordan has some of the best alley when they actually get thrown to him.

You gotta watch the entire video and read some of the comments on it

He didn’t display that creativity it’s not about whether he could. He didn’t so how could I rank him above other SG’s that show cased that type of creativity and explosiveness. Like I said Kobe has 7 minutes worth of 360’s. Cats like J.R. was throwing down reverses and 360’s off alleys. How could I put him above that?

Vince would have caught more posters in the 80’s and 90’s with no defensive three seconds in the paint or zone defenses. Even then he got a good amount of bodies.

Let’s be real this shyt is pretty tame compared to a LeBron in the South Beach era or a prime VC who was routinely catching alley oop windmills.

Or a Blake Griffin who probably has the most disrespectful collection of posters in the history of the game.

Jordan got more posters and dunked harder than power forwards as a skinny 6’6 guard.

But that’s all irrelevant Jordan was
Special cause he just moved different and floated to the rim that’s how he got his nickname

Nobody except maybe Zack Lavine looks like Jordan when they dunk

It’s like a quality you can’t duplicate.

I can walk into any gym or court around America and find teenagers who can windmill and 360

And it’s easy to catch oops (that’s the easiest dunk)

But nobody is “dunking like Jordan”.

Not even Penny, Kobe, not Wade, Not Vince, not Lebron or even D Rose.... All amazing dunkers

But I can name plenty today who can dunk like or even better the names mentioned above.

That’s why Jordan is the GOAT he was unique and original.

This what I'm talking about, shyt is so rare now. Kobe was dropping 360's weekly it seemed when he was young :russ:

He had a nice little change up on that one though

kobe never attempted a reverse 360 windmil breh
