Will NXT or AEW crack a million viewers ever again?

I think its possible depending on what happens when things return to crowds and if NXT moves superstars down for a programme (ie imagine if DB or Styles do a programme with someone) or if AEW signs more names

Anything is possible but Im also talking within years not weeks

for aew - theyll continually be around the 700k-900k mark unless NXT isnt airing on that particular day then theyll crack a million

for nxt - just have the rock show up then theyll crack a million

That portion would probably be enough to put one above a million. For example with this week, if for whatever reason NXT were not on and it was just AEW, you might see 220k more people watching AEW, which would have put it above 1 million viewers. Not everyone is going to watch AEW if NXT isn't on and vice versa, but there could be enough people who do which could push viewership above a million.

NXT aired and award show where they literally just handed out awards in an empty arena and a recap show and AEW still couldn't crack a milli. As for the OPs question the answer is no, and get ready because you're about to have a bunch of stat nerds throw a bunch of bullshyt numbers at you that'll say that AEW is getting over a milli a week. The truth is that neither show will get over a million until the WWE itself becomes hot again, because despite what the anti WWE crowd thinks the fact is that mainstream wrestling in Amerikkka hinges on the WWE.

Who could they sign that would get people talking? Outside of Rusev(and that's debatable) there's no one they could sign that would get people interested. A lot of these guys aren't as popular as ya'll want to believe.

AEW has been within 200k of hitting a mil a couple times. Both seem capped out around 750-800 though
