Will NXT or AEW crack a million viewers ever again?

Can they do it!? Can AEW or NXT make this fight worth anything

And if so, can they do it before the end of the year?

AEW has been within 200k of hitting a mil a couple times. Both seem capped out around 750-800 though

What say you?

And before nikkas come in here crying, we all know ratings don’t indicate the quality of the shows. Relax. Just a simple question

If one is pre-empted for whatever reason yes. Otherwise they are splitting a similar viewing audience so unless one of the shows features some sort of insane match being hyped up, then probably not.

I’m not so sure they’re sharing an audience

It’s so divided. I don’t think AEW’s core audience fukks with WWE in any way, and vice versa. They share a portion of course, but nothing significant in my opinion

for aew - theyll continually be around the 700k-900k mark unless NXT isnt airing on that particular day then theyll crack a million

for nxt - just have the rock show up then theyll crack a million:mjgrin:

That portion would probably be enough to put one above a million. For example with this week, if for whatever reason NXT were not on and it was just AEW, you might see 220k more people watching AEW, which would have put it above 1 million viewers. Not everyone is going to watch AEW if NXT isn't on and vice versa, but there could be enough people who do which could push viewership above a million.

If they get a genuinely interesting angle popping or someone on the roster really emerges a real crossover star then sure why not.

But I can't see the numbers improve much if they just stay on this Jim Crockett nostalgia shyt.

I've said it from day one, their booking is okay, but it's very uninspired. Which is fine, it's mostly basic old wrestling booking which makes for a decent watch but it's not gonna catch fire with that stuff. They need something that's gonna turn heads. I don't know what that could be but it ain't gonna be Cody doing Horsemen cosplay

I don’t think NXT could do it, not even if the main roster guys showed up

It’s not like NXT is a secret. The millions of people who watch RAW and SD know exactly when and how to watch NXT, they just choose to not. I genuinely think the rock could fukkin show up and it’ll still do 800k TOPS
