Will music play a role in the redemption of black folk at all?

I disagree with this, simply because hip hop culture is something that has been moulded and manufactured by white men in suits. From the clothing, to the speech, to the agendas

all made by white men

black people didnt invent/ make jordans, snapbacks, new eras etc etc etc

we're a created people, even down to our culture

Who created it is irrelevant to what its become. It defines black culture in America(sadly), and accurately depicts everything that is right and wrong with our community.
We are having this discussion on a hip hop site . We gravitate towards it, and huddle around it.

We just need to wield its power in a positive/empowering way.

Hiphop has the power to get people interested in things that can help the community but as long as demons are in power, that wont happen.
