Perhaps it is morbid, but a thought that lies in the back of my mind that gives me great comfort is that no matter what happens in our lives here, NONE of us get out of this thing alive in the end. That includes the ones who are willing to destroy for the sake of corporeal treasures.

It makes me think, then, those who are hoarding resources and facilitating the destruction of life here must be missing something to their spiritual makeup...I can't reconcile anything else...otherwise, why would they be hell bent on building and holding more material wealth than they could ever need for a physical lifetime?

These people make life shytty for everything else living on this planet though.

Money is just a tool to allocate resources. The problem is the desire to control. Humans never feel satisfy, they always have the craving for more. This more or less is a segment of the Ego.

Honestly, I think the pandemic sprinkled an aura of apathy and anhendonia to the point that people are just indifferent.

Our wages, housing, economy, health care system, law//crime system is collapsing because of greed and corruption.

Poverty is hitting EVERYWHERE and overwhelming majority of wealth is in the hands of a few even as they fight for more of your wealth.
