I don't know how good the stats for basketball will ever be, but WS, WS/48, PER and RAPM are all useful. But all NBA fans ever talk about is stupid shyt like playoff performance, championships won, mvps, all star appearances, worthless raw box score stats etc. If anybody talking baseball was using basic shyt like that they would be laughed out of the building. Maybe it will be better when NBA.com starts putting out their advanced box scores this year.
