Last year's.

Shouldn't have traded for Afflalo.

Lilliard, Matthews, Batum, LMA, Lopez, Crabbe, Barton, McCollum, Leonard...

Could've still got Mason Plumlee...or kept Rondae Hollis Jefferson.

:banderas:
The trade for Afflalo made since at the time. He was a proven player that would help the bench. Wes was having a great year and Afflalo was someone who could play a backup role without a major drop off. McCollum was always hurt. They had to have a nice playoff run to have any chance to keep Aldridge.

I'm happy for Barton. I wanted him to succeed in Portland, but if Wes never got hurt and we kept Aldridge it would have been worth it.

Dude can straight up hoop. I wonder if he will be like this generation's Jamal Crawford type of guy or does he have all star potential.

Not according to @Kd35brah

:mjlol:

They'll end up with a 30 for 30 one day talking about what they could've been had they kept it all together.
Aldridge was the leader of that team, they were going nowhere. Aldridge got raped in the playoffs every year, did you not see how trash he looked against the Spurs in 2014 and the Grizzlies in 2015?

Barton was already gone before the end of the season(traded for a rental of Afflalo) so he can't be included in this fantasy. CJ would still be stuck behind Lillard, Batum, and Matthews.

Hes 6th man of the year by far...since Danilo went out hes been the #1 option on offense for them. Its one of those situations where he's a "bench" player but also their best player playing the most minutes :russ:. Good for wrapping up a 6th man award :yeshrug:

I don't think Lillard was too good too soon, because they still ended up with a lottery pick in McCollum the next season.

Just look at the position they're in now, they are rebuilding but already have their backcourt of the future, not many teams can get rid of 4 starters and still come away with what they have. If anything, you can probably say they didn't stick with it long enough, they never got to see what McCollum could do with the starters, if anything they should have let Matthews walk and tried to convince Aldridge to stay, but take on a different role in the offense.

This has already been covered in detail this off season, they tried to convince Aldridge to stay, even Lillard made a last ditch effort meeting in LA while Aldridge was meeting with other teams, didn't matter, he was gone.

Yeah, it is official if, Malta peeped.

Duke been passing the eye test consistently for a few weeks now.
Like scary how he was in high school.
He could have possibly realized, he was better than these nikkaz still and the light bulb switch got cut on all the way.
Glad you made the thread, and @Wacky D, I wanna say called this first, if I remember right.

I'm hoping Tim moves Faried while he is hot and rock with a Mudiay/Harris/Barton/Gallo/Nurk line-up. Too bad Tim would probably only want first rounders and I don't know who is going to give up first rounders for Faried

When he was on the Blazers I was always a fan of his. Always liked his game. Hoped he would blossom into a 16-18 ppg player. :obama:

He is on the upside to the point.
that if he continues to add muscle and keep this same mental frame of play he has.
His activity rate is so high and his IQ for the small stuff is top tier. that he could ramp and be getting starter minute contract money.
Plus at the least be getting 22, a game or way more.

He has IQ, on another level and is inventive on another level of play for this low bball IQ era.

He has mastered the small wiggle room allowed.
when a defense traps on court on some other shyt.
Then, like elongated that area to maneuver into the whole court.
