rap is huge not just among asian americans but in asia itself. i have a korean friend who showed me k-pop songs to show how big rap is in korea. low key every girl k-pop group has one girl whos the "rapper"
theres also a korean game show called show me the money where rappers compete against each other
but he said theres also an underground scene where they listen to wu tang and nas all day and look down on mainstream korean rap

Maybe, but Jin had everything working for him and it never popped off. I don't know who's gonna be in the position Jin was in and wind up successful.
