Wiggins was drafted based on defensive potential so why is he #73 on DRPM?

It's a lot of players that are great at isolation d but can't read the flow of an offense below 73 on drpm.

It's a lot of good defenders on bad teams below 73 on drpm.

Every single player in the top 30 for drpm apart from Gobert, Nene, Gortat , Jokic, Cousins, Dieng and Pau (14th:scusthov:) is on a team that made the playoffs.

Do with that information what you will

Rubio rates as one of the best drpm pg defenders . Towns would be in the top 30 too, but drpm weighs heavy against rookies

It's just awareness and strength that he will gain as he gets older and more versed in the game.

On ball he can be lock down at time but off ball he gets lost. This improves with experience. The tools are there.

Boy needs to hit the weight room too. These 2 things will make Wiggins lockdown.
I've never seen a player with his length, speed and quickness

Paul George sophomore year

12.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.6 stl, 0.6 bpg, 44 % fg, 55 TS%, 29.7 mpg

per 36, since he was playing with Granger

14.7 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.9 apg, 2 stl, 0.7 bpg

DRPM : no where to be seen

Kawhi Leonard virtually the same
