So we gotta buy new charges....cuz the OEM chargers that came with the phone don't work?
If you have an apple store near you theyll just give you a new one for free. But i think you were saying you dont so thats the only option for now.
Thats not my phone. lol, when I saw the thread, I googled to see if the problem was recurring with other folks. Some guy posted that in another apple help forum.
I thought it was funny, so I copy-pasta'd it over here.
I'm stickin with my 4s for a while. I might go S3, but I keep hearing rumors of the S4 next year. I dunno what Im gonna do. lol
But the phone and charger is less than 2 days old. Lol. Dam. :sadistan:

Was going to get one first day but decided to wait about two weeks to hopefully wait out any issues/problems with first shipments. Things like this are typical not just of Apple products, but ANY major product upon first release, it's the gamble you run for being an early adopter....
I, too, am having the same problem charging iPhone 5. For those of you that live far away from an Apple Store, I seem to have found a temporary solution. All you need is the charger and a small enough elastic band of any kind (rubber band, hair scrunch thingy, etc.) In my case, pulling the cable to the left side of the phone drew a full charge. The band keeps the cable in place wherever your cable 'connects.'
It works for now.
