The anger part wasn't pertaining to you but a general reason I hear theist give as to why atheist are atheist.
Just my personal opinion but when some people go theist to atheist for emotional reasons I see it as they are more trying to convince themselves they don't believe instead of looking at the evidence and coming to the conclusion that religious/spiritual stuff is incorrect

Religious/spiritual stuff like you want to call it has many avenues. You can seek God and get results. You can practice voodoo or other forms of witchcraft and get results.

It is not incorrect, if you never had a relationship with the most high to begin with you could never understand it. As children we were raised to what our parents subscribed to.

Breh, I've been telling you that I had already been down that path. Ive studied the different religions and all that stuff. I had your mindset at one point.

Like you mentioned, we are indoctrinated to believe in God by our parents and even if we are not by the book we are still believers because it is our normal.

Average lifespan wasnt too different than what it is now. Infant mortality is one big reason why that average was so low back then

How did you do it?

All of the stuff you and @Sccit been saying in here I have done. From Orthodox to esoteric in multiple religions, spiritual teachings like Kabbalah, god body teachings, and some other things I can't remember because it's been about 15+ years ago.
Even though I don't believe it, I do find the stories in each religion to be fascinating and enjoy hearing them.
